About us
Dubbo City Amateur Swimming Club formed many years before the Dubbo Aquatic and Leisure Centre was built. It is the oldest swimming club in Dubbo. They held training and club nights in the Macquarie River and later moved to the Dubbo Aquatic and Leisure Centre after it was built and funded the club room.
Swimtech Swimming Club was a breakaway club form Dubbo City Amateur Swimming Club in the late 1990’s and funded and built the Club’s timing room.
The bringing together of the Dubbo City Amateur Swimming Club and the Swimtech Swimming Club has resulted in the formation of our new identity—Dubbo City Swimtech Swimming Club Inc. Our first season as a merged club was 2009/10.
An identity that has created an impact on the swimming scene at Local, Country, State and National Carnivals. Our swimmers have represented our club strongly in all levels.
